Your Day at Mukshwaa

A typical day at Mukshwaa unfolds at your own pace. Early risers can join our sunrise yoga session on the open lawn, where the first rays of sunlight paint the Himalayan peaks in shades of gold and pink. After a rejuvenating practice, head to the terrace for a lavish buffet breakfast while planning your day’s adventures with our activity coordinator.

Morning hours are perfect for guided nature treks through the surrounding pine and oak forests. Our experienced local guides know every trail, every hidden viewpoint, and every spot where rare Himalayan birds are likely to appear. The moderate difficulty treks are suitable for families with children as young as six, while more adventurous routes lead to panoramic ridgelines with 180-degree views of snow-capped peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli.

Afternoons at Mukshwaa are for relaxation and recreation. Lounge on your private veranda with a book, challenge your family to a pool table or table tennis tournament in the recreation tent, or take a gentle walk along the riverbank to discover hidden waterfalls and natural rock pools perfect for wading. Children are especially fond of our outdoor play area with its slides, trampolines, and see-saws — all set against the backdrop of towering mountains.

As evening approaches, the magic of Mukshwaa truly comes alive. The resort transforms as hundreds of fairy lights illuminate the pathways, gardens, and tent areas. The bonfire is lit, marshmallows and hot cocoa are served, and guests gather for what many describe as the most memorable part of their stay — an evening under the stars with the Milky Way clearly visible overhead. Our location away from city light pollution makes Mukshwaa one of the best stargazing spots in Uttarakhand.
