Farm-to-Table Mountain Dining

At Mukshwaa, dining is not just about food โ€” it is about the complete sensory experience. Imagine sitting on our open-air terrace as the sun rises over the Himalayan peaks, a steaming cup of freshly brewed mountain tea in your hands, while Chef Deepak’s team prepares a lavish breakfast spread behind you. The aroma of freshly baked parathas, the sizzle of eggs on the griddle, the sweet fragrance of seasonal fruits picked from nearby orchards โ€” this is how every morning begins at Mukshwaa.

Our kitchen sources ingredients directly from local Kumaoni farmers and organic producers. Seasonal vegetables come from terraced fields within walking distance of the resort. Fresh herbs are grown in our own kitchen garden. Mountain honey, local ghee, and artisanal jams are all procured from trusted village producers who have been perfecting their craft for generations.

Evening dining at Mukshwaa is our most celebrated experience. As the sun sets and the fairy lights illuminate the resort, guests gather around the riverside BBQ area where Chef Deepak personally oversees the grilling of marinated meats, fresh vegetables, and his signature paneer tikka. The bonfire crackles nearby, live music fills the crisp mountain air, and the starlit sky above provides the most spectacular ceiling you have ever dined under.

For guests with special dietary requirements, we are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, Jain, and gluten-free preferences. Simply let us know at the time of booking or check-in, and our team will ensure every meal is prepared to your specifications. We also offer in-tent dining for guests who prefer a private meal on their veranda overlooking the river.

Our menu rotates daily to keep things fresh and exciting throughout your stay, but Chef Deepak’s signature Kumaoni Thali โ€” featuring authentic Bhaang Ki Chutney, Aloo Ke Gutke, Kafuli with steamed rice, and the famous Bal Mithai for dessert โ€” is available every evening by special request.

We take pride in our ability to cater to groups and celebrations with customized menus. For corporate retreats, we offer multi-course sit-down dinners with themed cuisine nights. For birthday celebrations, we create bespoke menus based on the guest of honor’s preferences, complete with custom cakes from our in-house bakery.
